There will be more, but this is the image that triggered the whole current cool pic concept.
Not that it's all that cool, it's just the first one out of the box, so to speak, and in any case I'm wondering just how the text wraps around the image in a long paragraph. To view in all it's glory click on the image.

On vacation we took the old way around Savannah just to see the Talmadge Bridge, there was smoke in the air from the wildfires burning in southern Georgia and it took but a nudge from Photoshop to bring all that out.

My buddy Rusty took this picture at an airshow in Walterboro then I punched it up a bit in Photoshop. It's a dead on view of a Pilatus turboprop, arguably one of the coolest aircraft ever made, and we got it looking good. It really looked good a few minutes later when it took to the skies on the way to wherever it was going. I remember thinking that mere mortals such as we couldn't even conceive of a lifestyle that allowed flying around in such an aircraft just to visit a small town airport for a rather unimpressive gathering of homebuilds and hotrod cars.

Perhaps it's just a stage that budding photographers go through but there for a while I was shooting nearly every cloud that floated past my lense. These clouds were cool to begin with, but then, depending on your aesthetics, I either enhanced them or ruined them with Photoshop, your call. By the way, the line running across the bottom is a power line, not some goofy anomaly I allowed in.
