Flash Has (Finally) Arrived At JPW
One thing I've learned about high end software is that it's a use it or loose it scenario. Like playing guitar, it needs constant use and practice to stay on top, and Flash Pro is just such a program. While I'm at the point where I can stream videos off my site (That's why I got it) this program can do so much more, and I simply haven't had time to work with it. Then there is the whole HTML5 thing, and will platform specific players become just another lump in the techno trash heap?
But now is now, and for now I'm creating quite a population of home grown videos streaming off my site. No, they probably are not Oscar potential, but they were all fun to do and in so doing there was a constant learning process. How many more? Don't know, but I've several ideas furiously fermenting in the cranial cavity and we'll just have to see what comes out, and if it's fit to be played in polite company.

My first Flash slideshow, with homemade, disappearing buttons, sound track and masking. Also, I've a newfound respect for those glib tv announcers that seem never at a loss for words; I lost quite a few words in the making of this slide show.
The aircraft I learned to fly in (sorta), the Piper PA-28. I flew the Cherokee 140 variant, with fixed prop and landing gear, a whole 140 horsepower and without an auto pilot, on the twin assumptions that student pilots needed all the stick time they could get and did not need to be overloaded with even more switches, etc. I flew my Private Pilot check ride in July of 1970 (Passed!) but for various reasons (Complicated!) never flew another airplane.

This is mostly me yacking about Flash Pro, with some cool stuff flying across the green draped back wall.
Yet another of my flight simulator videos, with me before my el cheapo web cam performing an introduction. Just for fun I'll also upload this same video to my YouTube page for a little A/B comparisons, see if it looks any better here or there. Kind of like a double dose of pure excitement.
Historic moment! My first ever music video. After spending a good deal of time and effort making the thing I was sufficiently impressed with the results that I not only placed it here on the site but also uploaded it to my YouTune page. But after watching it for about the zillionth time I came to the sad conclusion that the thing actually sucked, and maybe I shouldn't waste bandwith on something that so positively reeked of boredom. So I deleted it from my YouTube channel, but kept it here, blessed in the obscure oblivion that is the fate of all that is here, as nobody ever comes here anyways. OK, you've been warned, if you still want to blow a minute of precious lifespan watching this, then by all means go for it.
