Welcome To the Sprawling Disorder Of My Web Site!
Part hobby, part personal data storage, part cathartic release mechanism and way cheaper than motorcycles, race cars, boats and/or airplanes, my web site doesn't get mad or deteriorate from neglect and doesn't require that I load anything and go anywhere before I can play with my toy.
There are three versions of this website, resulting from my habit of building a new site then nailing it to the one before, and a certain surprising order has arisen that can be called, for lack of any other label, well, Versions.
The first version, logically enough called Version One, is basically all about me, where I've been, what I've done, etc. The next version, Version Two, came along when I felt the need for a vent site, or, as I like to call it, my BMR (Bitch, Moan and Rant) pages. And the final version (for now, anyways), Version Three, is the place where I try new things, the place that occasionally wears that "unfinished look", as if I forgot to either put something in or take something out.
Note: I test this site with the latest versions of IE, Firefox, Safari, Chrome, Opera and even Lynx. IE has improved to where about the only complaint I now have is that it tends to render things a bit larger than the code calls for, and hey, I can live with that. Opera, on the other hand, must be running the old IE6 engine, as my site breaks down big time when viewed with either IE6 or Opera. My advice: Upgrade to the latest version of whatever browser you prefer.

Things I Like:
Sunrises while I sleep, the sea in all her moods, starry vistas that beckon the imagination, the feminine form in all it's glorious beauty and the smell of morning biscuits in the oven.
And, oh yeah: Trains, planes, fast cars, digital cameras, computers, web design (Ya Think?), flight/racing simulators, making/editing videos, and the fact that I'm still here loving it after all these years.
Things I don't like: See Version Two.

CoolPics!
Got me a new camera, one of those new fangled DSLR (read: Hideously Expensive!) monsters, and yes, I shot a lot of pictures, some actually fit to look at. Just a few for now but plan on adding more as time and image quality permit. Click on the Clouds for my CoolPix.
Site News, New Stuff, Etc
The big news is obviously the new landing page, with new art and layout. I fretted about doing yet another dreary, tedious redesign of the entire site but then realized that all I really wanted was a new Welcome page, and so here we are.
The top left image is a C4D WIP; not sure where I'm going with it yet but there will be animation and of course it will appear in due course on the site.

Old Songs And Stories
Every year, or two, or maybe three, I'll write a new song, or story. Not exactly award winning quality, but over the years I've developed a certain fondness for my homely collection, and so I keep it on the site.
Both Music and Prose are buried deep in Version One. Be advised that this is "grownupy" stuff, a little rough around the edges, not completely evil but not completely sunshiny wholesome, either. Enjoy, if you can find it in your heart to do so.
