This song was written years ago in the middle of what I eventually came to call "My Great Spiritual Epiphany". Despite the years, most of those feelings still remain.
This song was the last song recorded in my analog studio, just before I made the jump to digital. It was the only song from that era to make the jump to digital with me, and even though I can't remember what year that was, there was a neighborhood kid who liked the song so much I recorded it to a cassette for her, and she played it so much that not only the neighborhood was tired of listening to it, so was I. That "kid" is now married, mother of two children. Time flies.
It was also the last song I actually played bass guitar on, afterwards turning to keyboards for bottom end.
